Working together for a quality Catholic education

Being principal of Holy Innocents Catholic School for the past eight years has been a great joy for me. I learn much from my students as I see how they interact with care and respect for one another in this diverse and multicultural school.

My loving parents sacrificed so much to provide my sister and me with twelve years of Catholic Education. While living in South Philadelphia, I attended St. Gabriel School for eight years and then went to St. Leonard’s Academy for high school.

After graduating from high school, I entered the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Religious Community. I received a BA from Immaculata University in Theology and Education and a Master’s Degree from Villanova University with a concentration in European History. After teaching for many happy years, I was asked to be the principal of Sacred Heart of Jesus School in South Philadelphia.

I enjoy reading and going to the movies in my spare time. Learning about technology is exciting to me. In addition, I feel it is essential to provide every opportunity for my students to advance in the 21st century through the proper use of technological skills.
